Nearly crying with excitement, joy, and hope for the future...
...I started to make breakfast during the inauguration.
Potatoes -- some with skin on...some with skin off. Pan fried with onions.
Turkey bacon inside of omelets...which I'm renamed "OBAMlets."
Silly, I know...but I am really moved by this whole Obama business. The last time I felt so passionately about politics was when I was in High School...and everyone is overly passionate and opinionated during those years.
MY QUESTION TO YOU ALL:
What is your first impulse when Obama asks you to work for this country? What are YOU going to do to make us stronger?

I got emotional at home watching as well.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, my first impulse was to stay home for the rest of the day (seriously). To that I said, "YES WE CAN!" then realized I was speaking in the Queen's we because nobody else was around but Spoodie.
